Texoma T's

Texoma T’s has been contacted by a member of the Armed Forces Foundation to head up and coordinate the undertaking of a project to help raise funds for our wounded troops and servicemen killed in the line of duty. In addition to support for the troops the Foundation provides help for their families in the time of need. The project we are undertaking is that of building a vintage recreation of a WWI, Model T Ambulance as a promotional and fund raising tool for the Foundation.

 The Armed Forces Foundation is dedicated  to providing comfort and solace to members of the military community through financial support career counseling, housing assistance and recreational therapy programs. They offer these vital programs to active-duty and retired personnel, National Guard, Reserve components, and their loved ones.

They are a Washington, DC based nonprofit orfanization that is committed to serving the members of out Armed Services and assisting them in their time of greatest need. The foundation has previded hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay for hotel bills, and to offest the expenses of families visiting a loved one in the hospital.

What can we do to help?

We are asking for the following donations:

1. Rolling Chassis Parts. Sanded, primed and final painted, if you can, otherwise parts alone are great. We need front to back and everything in between.
2. Any Financial Donations straight to Armed Forces Foundation or specifically to the T Project for the foundation.
3. Labor Donations, if some of the parts we get are unfinished we will need help finishing them. As well we will need help with assembly. We will be planning a long weekend assembly party in Sherman at my house and we will need help with the party arrangements.
4. Commerical Vendor Donations for parts that will need to be bought.
5. Transportation Donations The rolling chassis once finished will need transporting from Sherman, TX to North VA. We need a closed trailer, a tow vehicle and the funds to transport the chassis along with its drivers.
